2026 Annual General Meeting and Interpretive Presentation – Virtual so everyone can join!

This meeting provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn about what has been happening with the IGA over the past year, what is new and exciting, the growth within the organization, and what is on the horizon for our next chapter.

Group Management Bridge – Canmore, November 3 & 5, 2026
The Group Management Bridge course takes place in a classroom on the afternoon of November 3, followed by a full day of hiking on November 5 (in the Canmore/Banff area). To register, ensure you have an active IGA membership and are certified with at least an apprentice 3-season hiking guide course. Please note that a Waiver is required to participate in this Course. Please read it carefully before registering.

- Day 1 (Nov 3) 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm
- Day 2 (Nov 5) 9 am - 5:30 pm

Apprentice Interpreter – Canmore – Nov 11-12, 2026
The Apprentice Interpreter course takes place Nov 11-12 in Canmore, AB. The course begins at 9:00 am and ends at 5:30 pm both days, with an online exam from 5:30-6:30 pm on the 2nd day. To register ($380 + GST), ensure you have an IGA membership purchased and that you're signed in to your account.

- Day 2 9:00am - 6:45pm
