That email will also include the Zoom link that allows you to join the meeting. Save this to your calendar so you have it handy for the start of the course, and make sure you know how to join before the first session.

This course includes an exam and you must receive 70% or more on the exam to become certified.

IGA Professional Dues: This year’s IGA professional dues are included in the cost of this course for registrants who are currently not certified IGA interpreters. You must pay professional dues yearly in order to keep your certification in good standing so mark one year from your certification date onto your calendar. Emails will be sent as reminders so make sure your user profile is kept up to date.

Once you have registered, you will have access to your user profile documents. This section gives you access to your certification(s), course files, handbooks, receipts and more. Once you have passed the exam, you will have full access to the guides’ and members’ section of our website. This section gives you access to pro-deal information and a number of other great guide resources.

If you are already an IGA certified guide you can save money by registering at the lower rate offered to certified guides in good standing.

Online Course Requirements:

  1. You must have a Zoom account (accounts are free and easy to join. Our course is optimized for the desktop or laptop experience).
  2. A working video camera (on your device or set up separately)
  3. A working microphone (on your computer or you can use earbuds/ headphones connected to your computer).
