4-Season Group Management Supplement Course List
February 28 & March 2, 2021 - Bow Valley area This course is for Interpretive Guides Association 3 Season Hiking Guides who would like to add winter guiding skills to their certification.
This course is available to individuals who already have an IGA group management certification in good standing. It will allow you to guide in all 4 seasons.
The course is 1.5 days (1/2 day classroom + 1 day outside)
- February 28: 6:00 - 9:30 pm Classroom. Location: Online via Zoom Meetings. Your wifi connection must be good enough to be able to keep your camera on throughout this portion of the course. Attendance and participation are mandatory to become certified.
- March 2: 8:30 - 5:00 pm Outside on trail. Location: Trail location TBA - most likely Lake O'Hara parking lot area.
- Cost: $189 plus GST
Prerequisites – 40-hour wilderness first aid, IGA AI, PI or IS or MI hiking guide certification.
