This meeting provides the perfect opportunity for you to learn about what has been happened with the IGA over the past year. What is new and exciting, the growth within the organization and what is on the horizon for our next chapter.
It's also a great opportunity to hear from our keynote speaker - Canadian interpretive expert Cal Martin.
In his presentation, Changing the World through Interpretation, Cal will show how interpretation can make a difference. He will help you weave interpretation into your guided experiences and leave you with practical and inspiring ideas on how to better engage your visitors.
Cal is the principal of Frog in the Pocket, and lives and breathes interpretation. He has presented at 18 interpretive conferences in 5 different countries, and trained staff of over 100 museums, parks, and sites. His work has been recognized through Interpretation Canada’s Awards of Excellence and the National Association for Interpretation’s prestigious Legacy Awards.
With over 25 years of experience, he has advised clients across the country, including the Royal Tyrrell Museum, National Capital Commission, Government of New Brunswick, Ontario Parks, City of Calgary, Canadian Museum of Nature, and the Gros Morne Institute of Sustainable Tourism.
