Cost - members - $29.95. non-members $39.95
 
Location: Meet your guide - Julie Walker, in the Marketplace foyer - Canmore Nordic Centre Banquet room (2nd floor of the main lodge)
                         From here you will drive to the walk location, which will be along the Bow River in Canmore.
 
Participant requirements: Vehicle to get yourself to the Bow river location in Canmore . This session will take place outside, so come prepared for all types of weather and you must be comfortable walking on uneven ground for 2 hours. You may want to bring a backpack with extra clothing, water, sunscreen, bugspray and a snack.

Your Guide: Julie is an IGA certified, professional hiking guide and nature educator. She has interpreted nature to elders, kids and adults in Southern Alberta for more than 25 years. Julie's explored the plants of the Prairie, Foothills, Montane, Sub-Alpine and Alpine eco-regions. Sharing her knowledge about this flora, especially the edible plants, has become her passion. Plant identification, wildlife interactions, sustainable harvesting and re-wilding your garden are her specialties. Her goal is to help you discover the wisdom of native plants and become a plant ally.
 
Cancellation Policy: Programs will run regardless of weather so come prepared. The weather in the montains can change unexectadly this time of year so bring a pack with extra layers, a toque, mitts, rain gear, snacks, water, sunscreen, bug spray and warm shoes.
If the IGA has to cancel this program for any reason they will issue you a refund.
Program fees will be refunded in full if you cancel a minimum of 3 weeks before the event.
